报告题目：Some non-singular and non-perturbative results induced by alpha′ corrections

报告摘要: 

Traditionally, bosonic string theories (massless sector) suffer some long-standing unsolved problems, such as: no dS/AdS vacua are admitted; a big-bang singularity exists. In this talk, I will show that alpha' corrections provide remarkable possible resolutions for these problems non-perturbatively. 

报告人简历: 

杨海棠， 四川大学物理学院教授。 1995年毕业于北京交通大学通讯专业，而后进入中科院应用数学所并于1998年获得 应用数学硕士学位;同年进入Washington University in St. Louis 物理系。 2000年转入MIT，2006年理论物理博士毕业。 2007年归国任电子科技大学教授，2012年转入四川大学。 多年来一直从事弦理论及其相关的研究，近些年的研究兴趣主要 集中于弦理论的非微扰性质和对偶理论。
