摘要：

The quark model encounters a great challengein describing even-parity mesons such as the light scalar mesons below 1 GeV, scalarand axial-vector charmed mesons and the charmonium-like state X(3872).  A common wisdom for the resolution of thesedifficulties lies on the coupled channel effects which will distort the quarkmodel calculations. In this talk we point out that the closeness of strange andnon-strange scalar charmed mesons will lead to the same degeneracy phenomenonin the B meson sector. 

报告人介绍：   

1980年在普渡大学获得博士学位，而后在普渡大学和布兰迪斯大学做博士后研究，1987年后回到台湾，在中研院物理所从事研究工作。在粒子物理唯象学的诸多领域取得了重要的研究成果，已发表200多篇研究论文，目前还在科研的第一线工作，是中研院物理所的杰出教授。
