报告人: 张岑副研究员(中科院高能所) 报告摘要: StandardModel Effective Field Theory provides an efficient way for characterizing andanalyzing physics beyond the Standard Model. I will discuss its application in top-quark physics at the LHC. Topics will include common standards for theinterpretation of top-quark measurements, the status and plans for NLOpredictions in the form of automatic event generator and Monte Carlosimulation, and phenomenology of rare processes such as tt+X and tj+X. I will also present some recent progresses onthe inclusion of EW corrections from top-quark operators to Higgs measurements,where sizable corrections are found and seem to indicate that a more globalview is needed for future runs at the LHC.
