Analytic Two-loop Higgs Amplitudes and Their Hidden Structures

报告摘要: 

The discovery of a standard-model-like Higgs boson at LHC set a milestone in particle physics. For probingpotential new physics beyond the Standard Model as well as understanding the details of Higgs physics, the highprecision computation of Higgs amplitudes is mandatory. We obtain the two-loop Higgs plus three-partonamplitudes with high dimension operators in Higgs effective field theory. While efficient new methods aredeveloped in the computation, a particular focus will be on the analytic structure of the results, which takeremarkably simple form and show hidden relations. In particular, the results satisfy the so-call maximaltranscendentality principle, which conjectures that QCD and N=4 SYM results share the same leadingtranscendental parts. The simplicity of the results and the surprising correspondence indicate there should befurther hidden analytic structure to be uncovered which may also lead to a better way in computation. 


报告人简历: 

杨刚老师2004年本科毕业于上海交通大学, 2009年于中科院理论所获博士学位。 2009至2016年分别于英国伦敦玛丽女王大学、 德国汉堡大学、 德国柏林洪堡大学博士后研究; 2016年起任中科院理论所副研究员。
